Meeting app settings
Microphone settings for Zoom, Teams and Google Meet.
- Start translating in KONWA.
- In the meeting app’s audio settings, set the microphone to the virtual device KONWA shows.
- Leave the speaker or headphone setting as it is.
- Use the app’s microphone test to confirm it receives the translation.
Where the setting is
- Zoom: Settings → Audio → Microphone.
- Microsoft Teams: Settings → Devices → Audio devices.
- Google Meet: more options during a call → Settings → Audio.
- Tencent Meeting: Settings → Audio → Microphone.
Turn off automatic microphone level adjustment. The translated voice has a constant level, and automatic gain makes it swell and fade.
KONWA translates your voice only. It does not translate anyone else and does not record. Make sure you have the right to translate the meeting.
