Questions
Short answers to what people ask first.
How is my translation time counted?
From when you start translation until you stop it. Quiet moments count too, and speaking a lot does not cost more. Your plan’s hours refresh monthly and do not roll over.
Do I have to install a virtual audio device?
Only if you want other apps to hear your translated voice. Without one, KONWA still translates and you still hear the result — it just cannot reach a call.
Does KONWA translate the other person?
No. KONWA translates what you say, outgoing. Hearing the other side translated is not part of it today.
How do I use my own voice?
Open Settings, then Voices, and record the short passage you are asked for. Standard and Business include voice cloning at no extra charge; Player does not.
Can I control how a name or a term is translated?
Yes. Settings, then Terminology: add the term and how it should come out. Start translation again for the change to be used.
Is my speech recorded?
No. Audio is processed to produce the translation and is not stored. We keep the number of minutes you translated, not what you said.
